Banoftal Irritated Eye Drops, 10 ml

Bañoftal Ojo Irritado (Irritated Eye) eye drops, formulated to cover all the needs and causes of eye irritation, seasonal allergic conjunctivitis, dry eye syndrome and eye discomfort. Reduces the symptoms of dry eyes that are itchy, burning, foreign body sensation and redness due to:

• Environmental factors: dry and irritated eye due to weather changes, pollution, exposure to solar radiation, dry or hot air from air conditioners.
• Mechanical assaults, insufficient blinking due to the use of the computer, driving, studying or the use of contact lenses.
• Age, menopause, postmenopause, in which the physiological absorption of vitamin B12 is decreased, it is counteracted with the contribution of vit B12 by Bañoftal, with antioxidant action, it creates an ideal environment for the growth of the ocular epithelium cells, improving well-being in the eye.
• Blepharitis, blinking after the insertion of the eye drops also facilitates the cleaning of any discharge present on the edges of the eyelids.

The action of Bañoftal Irritated Eye is based on the activity of its components:

• Rosmarinic acid: substance of plant origin, a polyphenol with a high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacity, very useful in case of allergic reactions. Protects the eye from free radicals and oxidative stress that the eyes are exposed to on a daily basis.
• Allantoin: anti-irritant and protective effect, it is capable of forming complexes with sensitizing substances and increasing the amount of water in the extracellular matrix. Thanks to its moisturizing properties, it contributes to tissue repair and stimulates cell proliferation as a physiological process in response to injury.
• Vitamin B12: with antioxidant capacity against free radicals, it helps to create on the ocular surface an extracellular microenvironment suitable for the division of ocular epithelium cells, that is, it exerts a trophic action.
• Hyaluronic acid: provides lubricating properties thanks to its viscoelastic and moisturizing properties, facilitates the sliding of the eyelid and reduces friction, thus reducing the sensation of dry eye.
• Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose: a biocompatible thickening polymer that increases the viscosity of the drops and also increases the contact time of the formula with the surface of the eye.
• Vegetable glycerin: moisturizing agent that reduces the vapor pressure of the tear fluid, facilitates corneal humidity and the evaporation of the tear.
